Hi, my name is Gina, thank you for considering me to photograph for you.
I am blessed with 3 beautiful children who are my inspiration and the reason Embellish Photography has been created. I know far to well how quickly time goes by and how important it is to capture special moments in time that our future selves will appreciate as well as generations to come.
I’m a hopeless romantic, I love chocolate, spending time with my family, reading and taking lots of photos.
Embellish Photography was founded in 2010, just after the birth of my second child. I specialise in Maternity and Newborn Portraiture and Wedding Photography. I also dabble in event photography as I love storytelling and this gives me the opportunity to do so.
I am accredited with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and have invested in numerous newborn workshops to ensure I know the safest way to handle and pose newborns whilst capturing them in the right lighting no matter what the weather conditions are.
Extensive time has been put in to source backdrops, props and accessories from all around the world and cater to any colour pallet. Please feel free to view the gallery to see some of the props and accessories in use and if you don’t see what you are looking for just ask.
All images are captured in raw format, ensuring maximum editing capabilities and I use canon mark iii and a variety of lenses that are top of the range.
Let me be the one to capture the most precious moments for you, your newborn is only a newborn for such a short amount of time, in the photography world they are considered newborns up until 12 days old as this is the time they are the sleepiest and easily curl into positions still. I’ll capture their tiny fingers, curly toes, the flakey skin and button nose so you will always have gorgeous images of your precious newborn to view whilst they grow and change so quickly throughout their first year.
